Brian and I have been on the receiving end of some incredible generosity over the last few months. At times, I feel bad that people have spent and continue to spend, so much on gifts, parties and travel to make this time so special in our lives.
My aunt, Cheryl, had us over for dinner on Friday night. She had a 4 course meal (yes, 4 delicious courses...we didn't even know people did that anymore!)waiting for us! As we were leaving, she asked us to come into her family room. She asked Bri to pull a painting off the wall. It is a water color, of a mountain scene. He turned it over and there was a beautiful note, full of wonderful well wishes for us. It turns out that Cheryl has been working on this painting for us since January. She matted it, and framed it in a gorgeous frame.
It is now hanging in our family room. It is such a special gift, something that we will have forever. The mountain scene is very appropriate, and will always remind us of our special day!
