Instead of "date night", we had "date day" today and spent it up in Estes Park, visiting the Rocky Mtn National Forest. In all my years of living here, I had never been. Brian loves to go for drives, coupled with the fact that the news had been claiming this weekend was "the weekend" to see the beautiful fall leaves, we thought it was a great idea. It was a gorgeous drive, where we each repeated " I love Colorado!" quite a few times.
We stopped for lunch at the Estes Park Brewery, where we were able to catch a bit of the Bronco game. The day ended with a nice nap for me on the way home, where Brian was able to listen to the rest of the Bronco game in peace. What more could you ask for?
