My nephews

I know everyone must think their nephews are the cutest kids around, but I am also quite sure, that mine are. I love the time we spend with them, and cherish the little hugs and kisses I get since they are big boys now, and prefer friends to their Auntie B

Yesterday as we were walking into the AFA Game, Cooper grabbed my hand and said "Auntie B, Don't let go of me until I say so!".His sweaty little hand held mine as we walked up the sidewalk, up the 5 flights of stairs and continued to hold it as we looked over the field. I looked down at him at one point at him, and he clinched my hand a little tighter and said, " I am not ready yet!". It just reminded me that my Coopey will always love his Auntie B, even when a Transformer steals his attention away from me!

Labor Day Weekend

We've had a crazy and busy Labor Day weekend, and it's only Sunday.

We spent Friday night watching the Bronco game with Linds, Colin, Heather & Jeff! We proudly cheered on their brother Tyler as he played his last game before final cuts!

We drove down early on Saturday to watch the AFA Game with the Zemans & Odoms. We were entirely too hot, so we called it at half time. Nik and Mike had a little bbque where we all proceeded to drink too much beer, and share in great laughs, as usual.

The best bit of the night was upon us all arriving back at Nik's house. Katie could not get over how big Hercie is (their 11 mo old Labradoodle). Hercie was so excited to see everyone, and was zooming all over the house. Right as Katie remarked, "He is so big!!", he came flying into the kitchen, ran into Nikki, and took her feet right our from under her. Nik crashed to the floor, and the house than filled with the hysterical "Munger" laughter. The boys missed the collision, but all came running at the laughing and the horrendous thud they heard.

Honeymoon

We are back...is our wedding and honeymoon really over? Back in college we coined the phrase "APS" or "After Prom Syndrome"...you know, that feeling you get when you are so excited about an event, and than the blah feeling you have the next morning when you realize it is all over?

We had so much fun on our honeymoon- 8 days of total and complete alone time. We laughed a ton, took long drives, drank lava flows, went on the waterslides, went on a catamaran ride(tho, I am still demanding a refund since I got sea sick)ate great dinners (diet, here we come!!!), planned our future and just enjoyed one another. I married my best friend, so of course we would have a great time!!


We spent a few days in Kona, than headed to the true paradise of The Grand Hyatt in Kauai. The hotel is breathtaking. We were in awe the entire time we were there. They have a tradition that at the end of your trip you take your leis and place them on a special stone down by the ocean to remember your trip by, and make a wish for another return to Hawaii! So, before we left yesterday, we were sure to take our leis down to the stone.

We got home today around noon. We were so excited to see the pups! We have tons and tons of laundry to do, gifts to open and a few days to get our lives together before we have to go back to work!

Can we do this again next year?

Wedding Pics

Our Wedding

We are back in Denver for the night, before leaving for our honeymoon tomorrow morning! I wanted to be sure to post a few pics before we left!

We had such a great time at our wedding! There isn't a single thing I would change! The Pavilion was beautiful, and the flowers and lighting were better than I could have hoped for.

Brian and I read our own vows to one another, and I am not sure there were many too dry eyes in the room! I love, love,love my ring and keep finding myself starting at Brian's ring finger :)

I had so much fun with my girls- Nik, Linds, Katie and Pelt. They are such incredible friends, and I feel so blessed! We were surrounded by the people that love us most....it was a magical night!

Wedding time is here!

After a very long year, our wedding weekend is finally here. It all seems a bit surreal to me!

Brian's family has arrived over the last few days, and we are all heading to the mountain today.

I am so excited to get up there, and cannot wait to see everyone!

I am not sure if I am going to get much sleep over the next few days- the excitment of it all makes my mind race at night! Everyone has been so generous and thoughtful over the last few months, I still cannot believe this is all for me!

I can't wait to be married to my Brian!!! I am 33 and have finally found my guy...it was so worth the wait!
