Legacy
I remember exactly where I was when I got the call that Jackey Boy had been born. He opened a part of my heart that I didn't know existed. The same happened with Cooper, and than of course with my own two babies.
This picture makes me smile. It fills me with pride. Nik and I have done good with our lives and these 4 precious faces prove that .

Halloween in Suburbia
On Thursday the 30th we attended "Trunk or Treat" at The Goddard School. I stuffed Miller into a 6-9 month outfit Lisa bought him when I was pregnant with him...a little stuffed Lion. In true Miller form, he just looked a little confused and than happily sat in a stroller while his big Sissy ran around like a maniac. I love we have found them such a good school.
On Friday- the 31st- we co hosted a Halloween party with The Zemans. I was stunned at the Halloween turnout in this neighborhood. Kids everywhere, cars everywhere, true excitement.
Syd had a love the relationship with Halloween. This picture makes me laugh- her hiding her face from Cooper dressed in a scary mask ( and in her defense, it was a little creepy)
Happy Halloween!!!

The Wennberg Trips
3 babies, yes, 3 babies.
On March 17th (I remember because Miller was born that day!) Heather, Mama to these babies, came by my hospital room to meet Mills and told us her doctor couldn't find a heartbeat. She was a little early for a heartbeat, but nervous none the less. Mom and I both prayed for her
Fast forward 5 days and not only did the docs find a heartbeat, but they found 3.
Yes, three heartbeats
Almost 3 weeks ago, after a pregnancy full of stress and a wide range of emotion, these little 3 miracle babies were born.
Welcome Caroline, Knox & Max.

Can she really be 3?
3 years old. Where has the time gone?
I was so excited to be able to host Syd's 3rd birthday this year in our new house! In Denver, our house was just too small but now we can host away!
We rented "The Fun Bus" and she screamed in excitement when it pulled up. The Fun Bus is a school bus converted into a tumbling gym. The kids had so much fun
Swingin' Away
On Sunday, we had our family dinner. Jackey Boy took a selfie and it made me laugh out loud when I found it on my phone. SJ adores these boy and it melts my heart.
Sydney James, you amaze us. You challenge us with your independent (at times defiant) ways. You keep us our on toes. You make us laugh. You are so smart, so confidant, so silly. Your energy is endless. Strangers stop me to tell me how beautiful they think you are. You are a great Big Sissy. Your giggle is infectious. I love watching you become you.
There will never be enough words to describe the depths of my love for you, SJ. I thank God every night for sending you to me. You, I adore.

7 Months
Are there any words to describe my love for this boy? Yes, but not enough of them. Miller is 7 months old now and is pure joy. He is the calm while his sister is the storm. He is easy going, has a huge grin, and laughs all the time. His smile lights up the room- it is what every one comments on. I had a friend over recently and she said "He has the sweetest soul." I hope that trait remains always.
He sat up at 6 months and started truly crawling for the first time on Saturday October 18th.
He loves to cuddle and pull hair. He adores his Daddy. He loves Jackey Boy & Coop and recognizes them with huge grins when they walk in the room. My heart melts every time I see them pick him up or give him a quick peck on the head as they walk out the door with their friends.
He does great at daycare and is to tired every night he can barely make it past 7:30pm. Everyone at school stops me to tell me how happy he is and how much they enjoy going into the baby room to play with him.
He is my sweet Boo-Boo.

Bleeding Black and Gold
AXO Reunion. There are no words for the laughs that went on that weekend- like tears rolling down your face, cross your legs so you don't pee. Amazing. It's been almost 20 years and we picked up right where we left off. I hope my babies make friends like this!
